Jie Zhu, M.D.

Jie Zhu, M.D. completed medical school at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing and then served as an intern at the Beijing Red Cross Chao Yang Hospital and a surgeon residency at the Beijing Heart, Lung and Blood Vessel Medical Center at the AbZhen Hospital. After completing residency, Dr. Zhu became a graduate student at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation with a M.S. degree, Dr. Zhu worked as a Research Assistant for the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Pennsylvania then for the Department of OB/GYN & GCRC for Temple University before becoming a Surgeon Assistant for Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Zhu next served as an intern for the Department of Surgery at the Episcopal Hospital of Philadelphia and then completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Nassau University Medical Center. Following residency, Zhu completed a one-year fellowship for interventional pain management with Mid Atlantic Spine. Dr. Zhu holds medical licenses in the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation and is board certified.
