MASSP Welcomes Renato Vesga, M.D. to the Practice

NEWARK, DE - (July 1, 2008) - Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians (MASPP), the most comprehensive pain practice in the U.S diagnosing and treating spine and pain related disorders, is pleased to announce that Renato Vesga, M.D. has joined the group as attending physician.

Dr. Vesga received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in anthropology from Columbia College, Columbia University and a Medical Degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Vesga served a traditional rotating internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh followed by a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Temple University Hospital, and a pain management fellowship with Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians. He has presented and is published nationally on physical medicine and rehabilitation and is actively involved in various non-profit organizations.

Dr. Vesga is a member of the American Academy of Physicial Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Medical Association and the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation.
