Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a nonsurgical medical procedure where tumor or other dysfunctional tissue is ablated using microwave energy to treat a medical disorder. RFA has become increasingly accepted in the last 10 years with promising results. This type of treatment is performed at the Delmarva Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art aambulatory surgery center (ASC) providing same-day spine surgeries and minimally-invasive procedures. Patients return home and do not need an overnight hospital bed and do not an overnight stay.

Dr. Falco is an innovative pioneer and widely-recognized expert in the field of pain medicine and spinal disorders. He regularly authors articles and book chapters, lectures nationally, serves on numerous boards of various medical associations, and functions as a medical expert witness for the National Association of State Jury. He is the Director of Pain Medicine Fellowship and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Temple University Hospital and is a residency faculty member at the University of Delaware.
