Cell Biologist

Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians, a well-recognized physical medicine and rehabilitation group practice specializing in the treatment of spine and pain related disorders, has an immediate opening for an experienced Cell Biologist to apply the principles, methods and techniques of regenerative therapies, and ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care. The successful candidate will oversee and participate in autologous adult stem cell and platelet expansion techniques. Oversee laboratory personnel, recordkeeping and registry.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a M.S. or B.S. degree (Ph.D. a bonus) in cell biology or related field with a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong technical background and experience in stem cell biology, cancer biology, identification, culture and characterization of stem cell populations and their derived lineages, FACS sorting. 5+ years bone marrow transplant experience a plus. Proven track record in initiating and leading research projects to achieve goals and timelines. Should be familiar with regulatory compliance guidelines, including: ISO, GLP and GMP. Successful candidate should also be a hardworking, reliable, energetic team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, and able to multitask in a confidential, fast-past work environment.
